Hope the new style's okay....? It's closer to what I normally do, in any case. And Wendy looks less like a creepy goblin-child. :P

Sooo....this style isn't working. It's killing me to see the characters get progressively more hideous as the pages go by.
It's just proof that you really can't force yourself to change 'styles'...make improvements, yes. But not change completely. Guess it just doesn't work like that. :/

IMO, the best page was 2, then it all kind of went downhill. ^^;;
In any case, I have the inked lines for pages six, and hope to have a ton of pages to upload in the near future, along with some sketches and stuff to go with it.

Best way to get out of a funk is to produce some work you can take pride in, yes? :)

Had some difficulties with my computer/scanner, so this took longer than I wanted to.

Of course, some of it had to do with the fact that I'm pretty damn unproductive around summer. :(

Ah-righhhhhht. Finally, got another page done! Not my favorite thus far, but I think I'm making a general improvement. Can't wait to get into the actual story, or until the actual chapter/splash page. X3

Alright, so, that's the first year goooooone. I've been informed they'll go by quicker and quicker in the future, and that I need to do my best and bask in the gobs of info which have been set before me.

The Senior Thesis show was....one of the most awesome art experiences I've had. To think that these students created such amazing art (for the most part) as a solo act, from their own doing, was amazing. It was all really, really professional and beautifully produced and presented. Definitely got me thinking about things I want to do, and about things I want to work on over the break!~

Speaking of which: over the break, I plan on getting more 'Wendybird' done. Finals and moving out of the dorms was a bit crazy, so there was a brief hiatus...hope not to have too many of those in the future! All in all, though, I'm thinking I can get a lot done this summer, both for the comic and in prep for next semester's classes.

Did another page...I'm not so great at action shots, or with backgrounds (although I'm beginning to notice how important they are for atmosphere...), but I'm glad more stuff is coming.

Woop woop. It's Friday, and I feel like a dead squirrel.

In all honesty, I haven't been particularly smart about my 'lifestyle' lately; loads of junk food, caffiene, no sleep, the like. Nothing wild and crazy. Just typical nerd stuff preventing me from functioning on a level typical of regular human beings. -.-

Despite my general stupidity, I managed to get some pages drawn for 'Wendybird', the adaption of my sister's Peter Pan story. I like how/where it's going, and my sister's written A LOT for it...so I'm sure I won't be catching up on the script in the forseable future.
